All the data which accompanies Paco Alcacer's Barça goal drought

Paco Alcacer played all 90 minutes against Borussia Monchengladbach. But, once again, he didn't score. It's now 11 games played by the striker (six from the beginning) without a goal. A total of 593 minutes without a goa. A dry patch that's generating concern at the club and has the player -- who signed from Valencia for 35 million euros to be Luis Suarez's backup -- in a constant state of anxiety. 

What's going on with Paco Alcacer? The data demonstrates he's not performing as expected, despite having chances to prove himself. The forward has played eight La Liga games (three as a starter) one Copa del Rey match and two Champions League games. A total of 593 minutes in which he's had just six shots on goal, an average of one every 90 minutes played. Very few for a striker. 

The worst thing is that Paco Aclacer is losing the ball when he receives it, showing a lack of control. In the 593 minutes he's played he's lost the ball 46 times, recovering it just 13 times. The only positive data is that against Gladbach he created one of Arda Turan's three goals, his first assist since he joined Barça. 

The difficulty which all players have adapting to Barcelona's special style of play is particularly costing Paco Alcacer, who cannot take advantage of the minutes Luis Enrique is giving him.  Even though the manager said at the end of Tuesday's Champions League game that "I don't have any complaints with Paco, he's doing everything his manager asks." With the exception of scoring goals, of course.
