Aleña & Vidal start as Barcelona close the year with rotations vs. Alaves
Ernesto Valverde has freshened things up for the game against the Basque side
Barcelona want to say goodbye to 2019 with a win and for that reason coach Ernesto Valverde has made a number of changes to freshen things up against Alaves.
Carles Aleña, Arturo Vidal and Samuel Umtiti all come into the team for Saturday's game, while Sergio Busquets also returns to the side after struggling with fever in the week,
Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo, Frenkie de Jong and Clement Lenglet all drop out of the side in respect to the midweek Clasico draw against Real Madrid.
Further forward, however, there are no changes. Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann all keep their places, with Carles Perez backing them on the bench. Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati are both injured.
