It's been denied that there has been any definitive contact and the player will fight for his place

Aleix Vidal's future has been parked until January. The player, who for the moment is not in Luis Enrique's plans, will continue to fight for his place in the coming weeks, leaving any future plans to one side. In the case that he continues in the dark, both Barcelona and the player will look for the best option for all parties involved, although the intention is that he ends the season at the Blaugrana. Vidal wants to play and is focused on getting an opportunity at Barça again. For the moment, neither the player nor his entourage have looked for an exit and they have they received any firm offers to leave in January, either.

In recent hours there have been reports of a meeting between one of Vidal's agents and Barça's sporting director Robert Fernandez in Andorra. The reality is that the contact between the two parties is frequent, as is the case with the majority of agents working with Barcelona players. For now, both parties are encouraging the player to take a step forward, convinced he has the quality. His relationship with Luis Enrique, who decided to sign him originally, is good and they're convinced the situation can be turned around.

It remains to be seen if Vidal will start against Deportivo La Coruna this weekend after the injury to Sergi Roberto. The player is working hard to have minutes and another snub would provide a major blow to his morale. For now, Barça will keep things as they are and Vidal won't force anything, although he may speak with the club if he remains locked out of matchday squads. Vidal would only be allowed to leave for around 12 million euros, but a loan would not be ruled out. The coming weeks will be decisive, but for now there's nothing new.
