Agent Dembele? Barça star's conversation with Ajax's De Jong
Dutch international Frenkie de Jong is a Barcelona target
Ousmane Dembele and Frenkie de Jong both had a special day on Saturday. They both scored and played a key role in their respective matches, as Barcelona and Ajax both won.
But beyond what happened on the pitch, they had a conversation on social media which could be read in many ways given the Dutch midfielder is wanted at Barça.
De Jong posted a photograph on Instagram with the message: "3 points, now focus on UCL." Dembele, once Barça had beaten Espanyol, then replied not only by liking the post, but by commenting.
Dembele's comment was the Barça colours -- and Ajax midfielder De Jong liked the comment. Without doubt, a curious detail as Europe's biggest clubs fight it out for Frenkie.
