Adama Traore for Trincao swap deal a possibility
The Wolves winger could trade places with his Barcelona counter part
“There will be three or four more signings,” said Joan Laporta to La Vanguardia a few days ago. “They will not be normal signings, but good exchanges,” he added on TV3. Adama Traore for Francisco Trincao may be one of those.
Adama has not hidden his desire to return to Barcelona. He made it clear in an interview with SPORT while at the Spain camp.
“I’ve always given a lot. Barcelona has been my home and is my home. I’ve grown there, I was at the club for eight years. We’ll have to see what they offer but the mentality is now to help the national team and focused on the game on Wednesday.”
He stood out in his youth at Barcelona for his speed and his dribbling, and now he’s huge and strong too. There are few players like him in the world.
He debuted in 2013 against Granada and played four first team games, the first two under Tata Martino. He scored for Luis Enrique against Huesca in the Copa del Rey. Lucho called him up for Spain but has not used him yet.
Trincao, meanwhile, has not fit in at Barcelona. He is one of the most likely players to leave and with Jorge Mendes as his agent, Wolves is a realistic destination. Ruben Neves, Pedro Neto, Nelson Semedo, Daniel Podence, Rui Patricio, Vitinha, and Joan Moutinho are all Portuguse players at the club.
It’s not even unrealistic that this could happen at zero cost for Barcelona. Both players have similar market value…
