Top 3: Busquets climbs above Iniesta in all-time Barça appearances
Only Xavi and Messi have played more games for the club than Busquets
Sergio Busquets starts for Barcelona against Real Sociedad to move clear of Andres Iniesta in third place in the history of appearances for the Catalan club.
Busquets is making is 675th appearance for Barça, moving ahead of Iniesta, who he tied at the weekend on 674 matches. Iniesta left for Japan in 2018.
The only two players ahead of Busquets now are Xavi Hernandez (767 games) and Lionel Messi (778 games).
Busquets' appearances hce come in 14 seasons with the first team. He made hs debut on Sept. 13, 2008, as a 20-year-old in a 1-1 draw against Racing Santander under Pep Guardiola.
He has been an ever-present ever since and has a contract at Camp Nou until 2023, when he could consider his future.
