The winger scored both goals in the second half, the first coming after a great passage of play with Malcom

Barça beat Vissel Kobe 2-0 and it was the youngster Carles Perez who stole the show, grabbing both of the goals.

The first half belonged to Antoine Griezmann, who looked comfortable in the 'false nine' role and linked up well with those around him. The French forward was involved in many of the attacking phases of play and showed signs of being on the same wavelength as many of the other first-team members who started the match.

In the second half it was all change as completely new XI took to the pitch. The breakthrough came when Carles Perez played a nice one-two with Malcom, now in the false nine role himself, and he calmly slotted the ball through the keeper's legs.

With the lead, Barça opened up more and Malcom - alongside Ousmane Dembele - were having plenty of joy getting in behind the Japanese side's defence. Ultimately the final pass or touch let them down but it was a promising display from the wide men.

Perez's second goal came when he ghosted into the box and, from a tight angle, slotted it across goal and it cannoned in off the far post.

Frenkie de Jong was also involved in the second half and he went close on a couple of occasions. He linked up really well with Dembele in one move which deserved a goal at the end of it.

Despite hitting the bar and post, Barça couldn't extend their lead any further. A routine victory in the end. Although for the away side, Andres Iniesta put on a wonderful 45-minute performance as he reminded his former side what they were missing.
