'Not in my wildest dreams could I imagine Camp Nou chanting my name'

Memphis Depay sealed Barcelona's win against Getafe on Sunday with his second goal of the season, finishing really well after some nice footwork.

After Lionel Messi's unexpected exit, the Dutch forward has emerged as Barça's big hope this season and his name was chanted at Camp Nou this weekend.

"Not even in my wildest dreams could I imagine my name being chanted at Camp Nou," said Memphis, who signed on a free transfer from Lyon.

He added: "I am really satisfied because my goal allowed us to pick up three important points. But it's still a bittersweet feeling, not like in Bilbao, where we dropped points, but because I think Barça can play better.

"We could lose these three points. It was important to get the win today before the international break and to keep growing."
