Barça president Joan Laporta's press conference has turned Real Madrid upside down. Although the focus of the speech was to ensure that Barça have not bought referees, there was a statement by Laporta that hurt Madrid: "They are the team of the Regime."

Real Madrid did not take long to reply and, just a few hours later, broadcast a video attacking Barcelona through their television channel, Real Madrid TV, and later share it across their social networks: "Which is the team of the regime?"

Several Madrid players and ex-players have shown their support for the video, including Iker Casillas, Arbeloa, Marcelo and Misa, the current first-team goalkeeper.

The most expressive was, without a doubt, Iker Casillas. The goalkeeper from Real Madrid's golden era retweeted the club's video and added: "Totally owned! Booommmm! (Padreo total! Booommmm!)"

Álvaro Arbeloa, meanwhile, retweeted the official video and also commented on the club's publication with a white heart.

Brazilian footballer Marcelo, who played for Real Madrid, and the club's current goalkeeper, Misa, showed their support for the publication in the same way as Arbeloa: with a white heart.

The reactions have been swift and Real Madrid players and ex-players have not hesitated to take a stand in favour of their club.

However, the most eagerly awaited response from Barcelona has yet to arrive. We will see if, after Monday's press conference, the Blaugrana decide to respond via social media or, on the contrary, decide to bury the hatchet.
