The late basketball legend liked Barcelona and met the legendary coach
Pep Guardiola has joined the condolences for the tragic death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant on Sunday. The Man City coach used his Twitter account to pay tribute to Kobe, which he rarely is active on. He posed a picture of himself with the NBA legend in Los Angeles in July 2011.
At that time Bryant and Guardiola met because of a Nike event when Barcelona were on the pre-season tour. Bryant said he was a fan of the club.
"Kobe is one of the best sportsmen I've ever seen in my life," said Guardiola at the time.
