TV host Pedrerol accused Bale of sulking because he could not watch the golf and had to play

Gareth Bale was involved in another ugly gesture at the weekend after his ‘up yours’ sign against Atletico Madrid. This time he scored a penalty but when Lucas Vazquez came to celebrate it with him, he shoved his team-mate away and ran off.

The moment was discussed on TV chat show El Chiringuito later Sunday night after Madrid’s 2-1 win at Levante.

The host Josep Pedrerol, said that the reason Bale was angry was because he could not watch the golf World Cup.

“He arrived at the stadium watching a golf tournament. Bale arrived at Levante’s ground watching a golf tournament on his phone. He arrived at the game watching a golf tournament. That is concentration. That is professionalism,” said Pederol sarcastically.

“Bale was angry. Do you know why he was so angry? Because he was missing the golf World Cup. Bale was so made because he was missing the golf which was happening at the same time as the game. Bale likes golf. He doesn’t care about football… or Real Madrid either.”
