Marc Bartra and Juan Mata on Atletico Madrid's agenda
The exits of key players mean Atletico will turn to the market in the summer
Atletico Madrid are starting to prepare for the 2019-20 La Liga season. They will be losing some key players, including captain Diego Godin, who seems poised to join Inter Milan, while Lucas Hernandez is going to Bayern Munich.
They have picked Marc Bartra as a potential replacement. Per Calciomercato, the Real Betis and former Barcelona defender is an affordable option for the Rojiblancos and he would like to play in Europe again next season.
Sergio Canales has also been linked with Atletico. The Betis winger is in fine form and could take advantage to make a jump forward in his career.
Another name linked is Manchester United's Juan Mata. The playmaker is not getting regular games at Man United and may return to Spain.
