Diego Simeone worried about Joao Felix injury
The player suffered a blow during the 1-1 draw with Valencia on Saturday
Atletico Madrid coach Diego Pablo Simeone said he is worried about Joao Felix. The Portuguese forward, a club record signing, suffered an injury against Valencia in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
"It did not seem much at first, but the doctors say it could be serious,” said Simeone.
Felix departed with 10 minutes left at the Wanda Metropolitano after twisting his ankle as he scrapped for the ball with Dani Parejo.
The injury left Atletico with 10 men, having used all three subs, and Parejo later score a free-kick to level.
