Diego Costa refuses to train with his teammates at Atletico Madrid
According to AS, the club has launched an investigation as to why he didn't appear but they have confirmed he isn't injured
Diego Costa has refused to train this Thursday according to AS. Atletico Madrid have opened disciplinary proceedings against the striker who is currently sitting out an 8-match ban.
Costa did go to the training ground but refused to take part in the session alongside his teammates. The club have confirmed that the Brazilian-born Spaniard isn't injured.
The Madrid based newspaper 'AS' broke the news and revealed the club are investigating the matter.
Costa is serving an 8-match ban after using abusive language towards the official and later grabbing him. It's worth remembering that the forward committed a similar offence when on Chelsea's books after he demanded to move to Atletico.
