Simeone hopes that Vitolo and Carrasco will be ready for the clash too

Diego Costa is working hard to be fit to face Barcelona after the international break is over. He uploaded an image on Instagram saying "I'm getting there". The Spanish striker wants to be ready to face Barca in a big clash on Saturday November 21 at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The Argentine coach needs him back as a partner or alternative to Luis Suarez and Costa is trying to make it happen. He got injured on October 17 against Celta Vigo, set to miss three to four weeks out. The Barcelona game arrives just after that period and so far the indications are that he will be there after the hamstring issue that stopped him facing Bayern, Betis, Salzburg, Osasuna, Lokomotiv and Cadiz.

It will be good news for Simeone, who has had to play Suarez in virtually every game for the whole match. Simeone also expects to get Vitolo and Carrasco back from injury too, giving him more wide options.
