Alvaro Morata hoping to feature against Real Sociedad
The forward is recovering from injury and wants to get back on the pitch
Diego Pablo Simeone hopes to count on Alvaro Morata for the clash against Real Sociedad on Saturday 14 at Anoeta. The forward missed the 3-2 win over Eibar last time out with a knee sprain, but he has recovered well over the past few days. It looks like he may be ready for the weekend.
UNTOUCHABLE FOR SIMEONE
Morata has become a key piece of Cholo's set-up since he landed at the Wanda from Chelsea. With Diego Costa injured last season Morata was the main man up top. Joao Felix's arrival has taken some focus off him but he's still adding valuable goals like against Getafe in the first week, which earned the team three points.
The most conservative option would be to let him rest until the clash with Juventus on Sep 18 in the Champions League, one of his former sides.
