Manuel Pellegrini warns Luis Enrique over Twitch streams

Manuel Pellegrini, the Real Betis coach, is taking advantage of the Qatar World Cup to relax. He headed back to Chile and received a prize from the coaching college at the University Andres Bello.

He also found time to speak about football, including the World Cup.

“Argentina’s defeat by Saudi Arabia explains why football is the most popular sport in the world,” he said. “There are unexpected situations. It’s just starting, in the end more favourites will arrive than surprise packages. Brazil, Argentina, France and England are candidates, but anything can happen.”

He also spoke about Luis Enrique’s Twitch streaming.

“It’s a complex relationship being national team coach, a lot of people go against him for his decisions. Seeing himself exposed on the social networks, where it’s in fashion to argue, he’ll have his reasons. Personally, I think it will bring him more problems than benefits.”
