Luis Enrique won't comment on his future after Spain's World Cup elimination
The Spain coach does not know if he will stay on after Morocco exit
Luis Enrique turned down the chance to clarify his future with Spain after crashing out of the World Cup on Tuesday.
Spain were beaten on penalties by Morocco to exit the competition in the last 16 and leave doubts over the coach's role moving forward.
Luis Enrique says he will wait a few days before talking with the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, to decide what happens next.
"It's not the moment," he told La1 when asked to discuss his future. "I am looking forward to seeing my family and my dogs and being with them for now.
"From next week, when the president feels is right, we will speak. Now, the future does not worry me at all. We have to assimilate this disappointment."
In a press conference, he added: "I can't say anything about my future because I don't know. It's not the moment, either.
"My contract is up but I am happy with the president and (sporting director) Molina and, if it was up to me and the affection I have received, I would continue for my entire life, but it's not the case. I have to think what is best, for the national team and for Luis Enrique."
Luis Enrique also took the blame for the penalty shootout defeat, with Spain missing all three after a goalless draw in 120 minutes.
"The responsibility is all mine because I chose the first three takers, who I consider specialists. The rest was decided among (the players). But we did not even reach the fourth one. Bono is a spectacular goalkeeper at penalties."
