The Three Liones cruised into the World Cup quarter-finals

England beat Senegal comfortably to set up a clash with France in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions were convincing in their victory, with Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka grabbing the goals.

He did not score but midfield ranger Jude Bellingham was outstanding for England throughout and played a role in the first two goals.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made a fine save to deny Boulaye Dia early on and it proved key as England tightened up after that.

Kane impressed up front, netting his first goal of the tournament after Henderson had stroked in the opener from Bellingham’s low pass.

Senegal offered little more, shorn of star man Sadio Mane, and Saka rounded off the win before the hour mark.
