The coach will announce his squad list for the matches against Wales and England tomorrow

Luis Enrique Martínez will release the names for his second squad as Spain manager on Thursday. The Spanish FA will once again first announce the squad on social media with the coach holding a press conference afterwards.

The main focus will be on whether Jordi Alba returns to the squad or not. The omission of the Barcelona full back was the biggest shock in his original list and Luis Enrique didn't even offer an explanation as to why he didn't pick him. His silence meant others were led to believe that it was a punishment for Alba's comments after the coach left Barcelona, when Alba spent more time on the bench than he expected.

INJURIES

Whatever happens, Lucho is forced to make some changes for the friendly against Wales and the third match in the UEFA Nations Cup against England at the Benito Villamarin. Sergi Roberto, Dani Carvajal and Isco are set to miss out through injury. Iñigo Martinez is also unlikely to be available.

Sevilla's Jesus Navas, who is performing to a high standard as part of a back five, is another option for Luis Enrique. Marc Bartra might also receive a call up. Without Isco, who played in attack against England and Croatia, it could see Diego Costa, Iñaki Williams or Paco Alcacer lead the line.
