Gerard Moreno spoke after scoring a penalty in Villarreal's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid.
"The feeling on the pitch was that we could have taken the game," said the Villarreal striker. "The point is important. They went ahead after bad play by us, the team didn't lose hope and the feeling was that we could have got more.
"The first 15 minutes were tough. After we set up camp in their half and had a lot of possession. The second half we saw a more committed team, we are happy because we continue without losing against a great opponent, and that's important. Now we have the Europa League."
On the penalty he put past Thibaut Courtois, Moreno added: "We always study opposition goalkeepers, I tried to wait the longest time to give him the shortest time (to react)."
