Villarreal close in on low cost deals for Valencia duo Parejo & Coquelin
Diario AS say the duo will cost less than €20m
Villarreal are closing in on the double signing of Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin from Valencia, according to a report in Diario AS.
The two midfielders will cost Villarreal around €15 million after Valencia made them both available for transfer this summer.
AS suggest the operation will be closed this week so that Parejo and Coquelin don't have to begin pre-season under new coach Javi Gracia.
Instead, they will be able to join up with their new teammates at Villarreal, where this is also a new coach in the form of Unai Emery.
Parejo and Coquelin will sign three and four-year deals respectively after agreeing to make the move to the Yellow Submarines.
