Rodrigo scored the only goal of the game as Valencia wrapped up a 3-2 aggregate win to set up a showdown with Barca.
Betis were left to lament the 2-0 lead the chucked away in the first leg as they were knocked out of the Copa del Rey a week after being eliminated from the Europa League.
But the Seville-based side will still have a role to play in the Copa final. Their Benito Villamarin home will host the match between Barça and Valencia on May 25.
Barca are appearing in their sixth final in as many years and are bidding to become the first team to win the competition five times in a row.
As for Valencia, it's their first final appearance since they lifted the cup in 2008 and it comes in their centenary year.
