The players Tottenham could offer Barça in exchange for Coutinho

Spurs are one of the English sides keen on the Barcelona playmaker

Philippe Coutinho will leave Bayern Munich this summer after a season on loan in Germany and Barcelona are looking for a new home for the Brazilian.

Coutinho is not in Barcelona or Quique Setien's plans for next season and they hope to find a take in England, where he previously impressed at Liverpool, leading to the Catalans paying 160 million euros for him in 2018.

However, it's not easy. The coronavirus crisis has made things harder still as clubs are forced to reduce their budgets. Instead, swap deals and loans are expected to be on the table. In this sense, Barça are negotiating with different Premier League clubs that have shown an interest in Coutinho.

TOTTENHAM

In the case of Jose Mourinho's Tottenham, the Premier League side are looking for players that could enter a deal. The British press have mentioned two players: Tanguy Ndombélé and Toby Alderweireld.

A midfielder and a defender, both of whom have been linked with the club in the past. They could be used as makeweights in a Coutinho deal.

For now, the same reports say talks are in the early stages and there is still a long way to go. Although they also insist that Barça's intention is to sell Coutinho and that they are not interested in a swap deal.
