Barça will report PSG to UEFA if they pay Neymar's buyout clause

The Catalan club have doubts about where the money would have come from

PSG have previously been punished for falling foul of FFP regulations

Barcelona have decided to lodge a complaint against PSG if the French club sign Neymar. The Catalan club feel that if the player’s buyout clause is paid (222 million euros), UEFA must investigate where the money came from. In then numbers clubs present to UEFA each year, there are none able to pay more than 200 million euros for a player. 

PSG have previously been punished and fined for breaking UEFA’s Fair Play rules. Therefore, a second punishment would not only lead to a fine, but also to sporting consequences, such as the possibility of suspension from the Champions League.

A breach of FFP is first punished with a warning, then, in the following order, a caution, a fine, a points dedcution, the retention of income from UEFA competitions, prohibition from registering new players in UEFA competitions, restriction on players allowed in UEFA competitions, disqualification from comeptitions (past or present) and, finally, the removal of a title or a prize.
