"Ronald Koeman wants to smooth things over with Luis Suarez at Barça"
Cristóbal Soria claims the new manager doesn't want to end on bad terms with Suarez
A few days ago Ronald Koeman phoned Luis Suarez to let him know he wasn't part of his plans for next season. Suarez, one of the most influential members of the Barça team, was upset at a quick one-minute conversation after his years of service to the club. It's believed the treatment of Suarez was another factor in Lionel Messi's decision to leave.
Despite a cloud hanging over his future, Suarez appeared at the training ground yesterday to undergo his PCR test. The Uruguayan doesn't want to get into a war with Barça and showed his professionalism by turning up. However, that attitude might have helped change Koeman's mind.

According to Cristóbal Soria in 'El Chiringuito', the new Barça manager wants to meet with Suarez to smooth over things. Koeman will treat the striker as another member of the squad and, if he stays, will be used as an impact sub off the bench.
