The Italian side want Vidal on a permanent deal and Griezmann on loan

Barcelona's move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is going to be a long and tough battle in the offices, where at the moment the Italian club are standing strong.

According to Sport Mediaset Italia, Inter's latest demand is for 90 million euros in addition to two players: Arturo Vidal on a permanent deal and Antoine Griezmann on loan.

Remember that Martinez's release clause is 111 million euros in the first two weeks of June and the value of Vidal is around 20 million euros.

As for Griezmann, who earns a lot of money, the Catalan club would save on his salary but they would not receive any financial compensation for a player they paid over 100 million euros for less than a year ago.

From Barça's point of view, Inter's demands are unacceptable, especially in the current circumstances.

The Spanish champions know that there's a long way to go, though. The club believe Lautaro is the natural heir to Luis Suarez and for that reason will consider paying his clause.

However, that is seen as the last option and the priority remains to reach an agreement with Inter in a deal which would include players as makeweights.
