Monchi: One day I will have to go

Sevilla sporting director Monchi gave an interview, alongside his mother, Maria Verdejo, on the club's TV channel. He spoke of lots of things, including the fact that one day this will all be over. "One day I will have to go," said Monchi. "I've taken a lot of time away from my family, friends and myself. One day I will have to give back this time. I need to live a little bit further from the telephone ringing. I think that I know how to live another way, but I've never tried it. I'm not saying that I'm going tomorrow, but I'm certain that I will go home."
His mother, who wanted to participate in the interview, said: "I am very happy that my son is at the Sevilla of his soul, I have him very close, he comes more to see me, so I am happy. Let's see if we can go further this year and Sevilla can win the league, that would be the biggest thing."
Monchi added: "She calls me each time Sevilla wins since my dad died and, lately, each time we draw with one of the big teams too."
