The Spain coach will not stand in Lucho's way if he wants to come back to coaching

Spain coach Robert Moreno says he will step to the side if Luis Enrique decides he want to return to coaching with the national team.

Former Barcelona boss Enrique stepped down earlier this year due to personal reasons, with his daughter passing away last week after battling cancer.

Moreno, who was on Lucho's coaching staff, has stepped into the role, but he says he would be happy to revert to his old job should things change.

“I consider Luis a friend and ahead of everything is friendship,” Moreno told a news conference on Tuesday. “If one day he wants to return, I would be delighted to take a step to the side and work with him.”

He added: “It has been a difficult week. We will try to provide some small joy in the middle of a very bad moment. It is the only thing that we can do.”

Moreno was also asked about Barça's Ansu Fati, who became the club's youngest ever La Liga scorer last weekend aged 16.

"There is no rush," he said. "We know what happens at Barça. A youngster debuts, scores and we want everything... but we have to have patience because he's very young. We can't rush things, we have to keep our feet on the floor".
