He also sent words of support to Christian Eriksen. “In my name and in the name of all the players in the national team I want to send a hug to Eriksen, his family, and the Danish federation. We wish him a quick recovery and hope to see him soon on the pitch, his natural habitat.”
On the Sweden clash, Lucho said: “The first game is always important, it’s to take the pulse of the competition. We want to start with a win, but it’s not an easy game, because of the opponent and because of the game’s circumstances. We hope to be at our best level.”
Sergio Busquets is out because he has the coronavirus. but Luis Enrique is hopeful. “The objective is to qualify, if we can, in first place, but however it happens to get through. I’m optimistic, I’d love it and I’m convinced (we can win it) and if it doesn’t turn out like that I’ll be the first to recognise we have done badly.”
