Luis Enrique: Gavi played like he was in his garden

Luis Enrique was delighted after Spain’s win over Italy to reach the Nations League final against France or Belgium.

He picked Gavi, who became the youngest La Roja player in history.

The coach hailed the Barcelona midfielder after the game. “He played like he was at school or in the garden of his house and it’s great to have a player of this quality and personality.”

The Spain coach was thrilled by his team. “We created chances again and we overcame them again,” said Lucho. “It was a great start, with two teams putting forward their best weapons. The players were committed as always.”
