Gerard Moreno: "Pedri is incredible, he wants to take on the world"

Gerard is a player that always puts the group first, but when asked about Pedri he couldn't hide his excitement. "It's incredible what he's doing at 18 years old. Put yourself in his shoes at that age and all you can do is smile. He does everything and takes it all in his stride. He wants to take on the world, as he should do at his age".
On the eternal debate about the number 9 shirt, the Villarreal striker stated that "there has always been a debate, and there will always be a debate. The important thing is that we focus on ourselves and support each other to the death". On a personal level, Gerard Moreno admitted that he really wants to get his name on the score sheet in EURO 2020. "I'm the first one to want the ball to go in", he said, before adding that "it's great that so many players are chipping in with goals".
