Four players brought in to bolster Spain squad after Covid positive
The coach Luis Enrique wanted more men at his command after Busquets fell sick
As well as Brais Mendez, Pablo Fornals, Carlos Soler and Rodrigo Moreno have been called up by Spain coach Luis Enrique.
They will be in a parallel bubble to the squad as against potential consequences of Sergio Busquets’s Covid-19 positive.
Lucho called up the four players, who had gone on holiday, in case Busquets had spread the virus and others will fall sick.
The chosen ones are Fornals (West Ham) Soler (Valencia), Rodrigo (Leeds) and Mendez who was announced earlier by his club Celta Vigo.
They might not be the only ones with the RFEF saying they may bring in more players after the friendly against Lithuania on Tuesday.
