Gavi and Iñigo Martinez scored as Spain twice came from behind in Prague

Spain twice came from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw in their UEFA Nations League game against Czech Republic in Prague on Sunday.

Jakub Pesek gave the home side a fourth minute lead but Barcelona Gavi drew Spain level in first-half stoppage time.

It was Gavi's first international goal and in scoring he replaced Ansu Fati as his country's youngest ever scorer.

The Czechs re-took the lead in the 66th minute when Jan Kuchta scored.

They came so close to holding on for the three points but Iñigo Martinez's stoppage-time goal earned a point for Luis Enrique's side.

Spain are next in action against Switzerland in midweek and then close this round of Nations League games when they host the Czechs next weekend.

Luis Enrique made eight changes for the game in Prague but Barça midfielder Gavi was one of the three to keep his place in the side and he again impressed.

"I know Gavi very well, I have been watching videos of him for five years," Luis Enrique said post-gam.

"If there was one player up for it in the first half, it was him. He has an unstoppable conviction when he plays.

"I'm not going to talk about Gavi anymore. I already told you he would score goals and he will keep scoring goals.

"The best thing about him is he's the complete package: defending, attacking, courage, character... and he has so much quality."
