Albania coach Christian Panucci defended Gerard Pique in his press conference ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Spain in Alicante. Panucci said "Pique seems to me a like a guy with balls, a lot of balls, with courage. In his political affairs I don't want to meddle, but I like people who have clear ideas, with character and who are sincere, who are not two-faced."
Panucci added: "Pique decides about his life, in the world there are worse thing than this, for me he deserves a lot of respect and he can do what he wants with his life."
