Schuster: I don't think Madrid or Barca will win the Champions League
The German thinks that the Spanish giants are both struggling this season
Bernd Schuster is one of the few players that has worn the shirt of Spain's three big sides - Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico. However he thinks none of them will get to the Champions League final on May 30 in Istanbul.
The German said: "In general, they're having a bad season. Quite poor, so I don't think any Spanish team will win the Champions League." On his favourites, he added: "We didn't believe in Bayern Munich until recently and now you see them and they're doing very well."
Schuster thinks Madrid "lack a No 9 for two years, since Cristiano left."
On their clash with City, he added: "The first half was very tactical, very respectful, nobody wanted to concede and with the 1-0 we thought Madrid would win but they were facing a team with a lot of options who were favoured by the substitutions."
