Roma not allowed to travel to Sevilla for Europa League game
The Italian club revealed they were banned from flying to Spain
Thursday's Europa League game between Sevilla and Roma has been shelved after the Italians were not allowed to fly to Spain.
Spain has issued a travel ban to Italy -- which affects incoming and outgoing flights -- and that has meant the Serie A side were not allowed to travel for the game.
"Breaking news: #ASRoma will not travel to Spain for the @EuropaLeague match against @SevillaFC_ENG after the plane from Italy was not authorised to land in Spain," Roma announced on Wednesday.
The travel ban comes with Italy locked down due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, which is the worst affected in Europe
