The Spanish veteran has hurt his hamstring and will miss the Europa League game Thursday
Real Sociedad cannot count on David Silva for their next few games, starting with the Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League. The Spanish playmaker has been key for the club this season but now has a grade one hamstring injury.
He played 28 minutes on his debut against Real Madrid on Sep 20th, and since then has become essential for the league leaders. He said he came here to fight for titles and it looks like that is the case.
Silva, 34, has a goal and two assists to his name so far. He will be missed against Alkmaar, with both sides joint top of the group with Napoli, all on six points.
