Zinedine Zidane sends a message to Gareth Bale ahead of the summer

Zidane admits that he plans to use Bale, just like every previous manager at the club, but stopped short of confirming he would remain at the club next season

It almost feels like Zinedine Zidane has never been away. In his first press conference since returning to Real Madrid, the Frenchman was asked about Isco, Marcelo and Bale as all three are linked with a move away from the club.

"I'm not going to talk about Bale's season. What I will talk about is what lies ahead. We've got 11 matches. Gareth, you all know what type of player he is, is someone I will use just like everybody else. I'm going to end up repeating myself a lot. We are prepared for tomorrow and Gareth is ready for it too," said Zidane.

It's no secret that Bale's form has been below expectations and particularly in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo's departure. In the final of last season's Champions League, where Bale made the difference off the bench, he publicly criticised his role in the team under Zidane. Now he'll be looking at the coach to offer him another chance to prove his worth.
