Real Madrid are considering a move for Thiago Alcantara because Zinedine Zidane has expressly asked for the Bayern Munich star. According to OK Diario the French coach has been dreaming about incorporating the former FC Barcelona star and has tried his luck but without success, with Madrid gearing up for another attempt ahead of the new season.
Thiago has a contract until 2019 and has started talks to renew his deal, which means Madrid know the operation is nearly impossible. Despite this they will try their luck.
Zidane has included Thiago on his list of possible replacements for James Rodriguez and Isco Alarcon, in the case that either or both of those players leaves the club in June. Zizou loves Thiago’s game and wants the 25 year old but it looks like mission impossible.
Bayern have no will to negotiate. They told Barcelona recently that he would set them back 90 million euros. Real Madrid might as well save themselves the trouble of calling the Allianz Arena.
