Zinedine Zidane close to leaving Real Madrid
The French coach seems to be heading for the Santiago Bernabeu (or Di Stefano) exit
All roads seem to be guiding Zinedine Zidane away from Real Madrid. Per L’Equipe the French coach is closer and closer to leaving Los Blancos, with the season now over.
They say a good part of the Madrid board believe his cycle with the team is over and think they need a new man on the bench. He has always kept his cards close to his chest over his future.
That future is now the present and a meeting between Zidane and Florentino Perez in the coming days is expected.
Everything at the moment points to him leaving. L’Equipe says the club are not working with the idea that Zidane will be in charge next season in mind.
