Zidane won't take a draw from Atalanta UCL clash

The Real Madrid coach says his boys always go out to win

Zinedine Zidane analysed the Champions League last 16 clash with Atalanta in Bergamo. The coach was pragmatic with the many absences his side have for their trip to Italy, saying they have to accept it and don’t want to make excuses.

Asked if he would settle for a draw, he said: “You tell me about the absences but we have those who are here and we always go out to win, always. We will never be happy with less.”

The coach thinks the game will not be like their previous defeats by Man City and Ajax at this stage.

“They’re a very attacking team, with very good players, as a team they are physically strong but I don’t like to compare the two teams. Atalanta are Atalanta. What I will tell you is that tomorrow you’ll see a good football game.

“It’s true we’ve had a strange start to the season, and many absences. We have to be solid and create a lot of chances.”
