Bale has been left on the bench for a number of matches

Zidane perhaps feels the forward could get injured again

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says he counts on all his players, including Gareth Bale, who has been a substitute in recent games. However, when asked specifically about the Welsh international, the Frenchman's comments suggested he was worried about Bale's fitness, that he fears a possible injury relapse, something the forward is familiar with.

"Bale is an important player in this squad and he always will be. He's in the process of training and integrating back into the team, little by little. What interests me is the team and the squad, not thinking about just one player," Zidane said in a press conference when asked about the former Tottenham man.

"I don't know if he's angry. You will have to ask him. He's training well and he's focused," added the Madrid coach. "What I want is to see him at 100 percent and I don't want to lose him again. I hope that nothing happens to him. I'm sure he's going to have an important role."

And Zidane finished: "There is a lot of stress and a lot of games. I don't have 12 or 13 players. I'm going to count on all 25 players until the end. I want my players to be healthy, there are a lot of games. You have to use them all. Maybe when another manager comes he will do it differently, but this is how I see football."
