"Everything is complicated if you started badly," the French coach said at San Moix

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admitted his side "lacked everything" as they were beaten 1-0 by Mallorca on Saturday on a night which saw them replaced at the top of La Liga by Barcelona.

"I am not worried. I don't like that word," said Zidane, who took a while to appear in his post-game press conference following his side's first defeat in La Liga this season.

"We started badly, that's true, but we reacted at the end of the first half. And after that we created clear chances. But everything is complicated if you started badly."

The French coach insisted that his team "must move forward" because there "are a lot of games" now which they have "struggled to get into."

He added: "We knew what could happen here, when a team is playing against Madrid, at home, and, in addition, they don't deserve to be where they are in the table (in the relegation zone before the win).

"The [lineup] was not the problem. When they have to play, they play well, and you can offer an opinion on the team, but I took the decision and we have to analyse what's happened, but not in the heat of the moment.

"One of the problems is that every three days we have to show that we're the best. We don't do that and we need to find that consistency."
