Zidane: I'm not happy when our rivals lose, it's not easier to win La Liga

The French coach spoke to the media ahead of Saturday's game against Osasuna

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said he wasn't happy to see Barcelona lose to Granada in La Liga on Thursday night.

Barça could have gone top with a win at Camp Nou but the defeat leaves them third, behind Atletico Madrid (73 points) and Real Madrid (71 points), who they're level on points with but behind due to their head-to-head record.

Madrid, therefore, know that if they win their final five games they will finish ahead of Barça, although they may need a favour from Barça against Atletico to guarantee them the title.

"For us, nothing's going to change," Zidane said. "We just focus on what we can control. There are a lot of games, a lot of minutes, but we're going to put out the best team tomorrow.

"We have to make changes, (there are) lots of injuries... but the important thing is that those that we have are ready to compete.

"I'm not happy when our rivals lose. La Liga is not easier and it never has been (easy). There are seven games to go (in all competitions if Madrid make the Champions League final) and we're going to try and do our job without thinking about the end of the season, just tomorrow's game."
