The Hungarian midfielder is drawing interest from a number of clubs, per Bild

Zinedine Zidane, according to Bild, has contacted the Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai to sound out a possible January transfer.

The Red Bull Salzburg is expected to leave the Austrian club at the end of the season but Madrid's problem is that a possible move to RB Leipzig is already on the cards.

According to the cited media, Szoboszlai, 20, is seduced by the possibility of joining Madrid and transmitted as much to Zinedine Zidane when they spoke on the phone.

However, Salzburg are already in advanced talks with Leipzig over a deal, given the two teams share the same owner.

Szoboszlai, though, has no commitment with the Bundesliga side even though both he and his representatives would be open to joining Leipzig, as many Salzburg players have before him, because it often serves as a trampoline to an even bigger move.

Zidane's phone call has led to doubts for Szoboszlai, who will now have to decide very carefully what the next step in his career is.

Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with Szoboszlai, who Zidane sees as a replacement for Isco, who could leave Madrid in January in search of regular football.
