Vinicius Junior, a zero on the left against Man City

The Brazilian, usually so key for Madrid, was invisible when they needed him

Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior had one of the worst games of his career. Completely neutralised in Kyle Walker's zone, he did not shoot on goal, did not cross at any point and did not complete a single dribble. An absolute zero.

The Brazilian, who is one of the most important players in Carlo Ancelotti's squad, did not give the team wings in attack and lost a total of 17 balls during the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against City. He was practically a ghost at the Etihad, with numbers that speak particularly well of Walker and Guardiola's approach rather than the Madrid star's game.

The former Flamengo man completed just 14 passes during the 90-plus minutes of the game, as well as leaving one of the most unusual images of the night: he had an argument with his manager on the pitch as Bernardo Silva started the 4-0 thrashing of Pep Guardiola's side.

The striker was not necessarily worse than the rest of the team, who were dominated and outplayed in every facet of the game from start to finish. An uncontestable display that leaves them one step away from the Champions League final, where they were defending their crown. Vinícius has 23 goals and 21 assists in 53 games this season. He was at his worst against City.
