The Telegraph: Keylor Navas has been offered to Manchester United

Keylor Navas does not want to spend another season as backup

It's been a tough season for Real Madrid, even since Zinedine Zidane's return. The French coach has seen that many players are not at the level to compete for titles and now Keylor Navas could abandon the ship.

Navas is not to blame for Madrid's season. Not at all. The Costa Rican has been on bench for large parts of the season despite helping them be so successful in recent years.

Zidane's return looked set to change things but that's not so clear now. After six games out, Thibaut Courtois returned to the starting lineup.

The Belgian has the club's backing and Zidane's and Navas has a decision to make. Is it worth the effort? That's the question he must answer. Still 31, he has two years on his deal but doesn't want to be backup anymore. The only problem is finding a club to pay his five million euro annual salary.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is looking at the English market. According to The Telegraph, he has been offered to Manchester United, who could lose David de Gea this summer following their failure to land Champions League football.
