The English newspaper believes Madrid could make as many as seven new signings including a forward line of Neymar, Mbappe and Hazard

No one doubts that Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane are going to make massive changes at Real Madrid this summer. However the English newspaper 'The Sun' have gone even further than that and they've claimed Madrid could make as many as seven new signings: all seven would go straight into this fantasy lineup.

There appears to be no logic or reason behind this potential XI other than offering better players in most positions across the team. And whilst Madrid are likely to have a lot of money to spend in the summer, not even they have enough money to sign the team seen in today's newspaper.

In fact only Real Madrid's defence remains in this XI, which makes even less sense when you consider how leaky it's been this season. Carvajal, Ramos, Varane and Reguilon all retain their spots.

Not content with signing Courtois last summer, 'The Sun' names Manchester United's De Gea in goal.

Modric, Kroos and Casemiro are all 'out'. In their place comes Pogba (Man United), Kante (Chelsea) and Eriksen (Tottenham). Three signings which would cost over €100m each.

However it gets even more delusional further forward. The new look front three is made up of Neymar, Mbappe (both PSG) and Hazard (Chelsea). How much would securing all of those cost: almost €600m?

As such,' The Sun' names this XI: De Gea; Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Reguilón; Pogba, Kante, Eriksen; Neymar, Mbappé and Hazard. Somebody has been playing too much FIFA 19 this week...
