Telemadrid: Real Madrid ready to listen to offers for Gareth Bale

The club hope to get more than 100 million for the injury prone forward

According to Telemadrid, Welsh international Gareth Bale could leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. President Florentino Perez has decided he will listen to offers from 120 million euros. Getting that much, though, may be difficult given Bale's injury history. Remember that he is Los Blancos' most expensive ever player at a cost of 101 million euros.

Real Madrid have grown tired of Bale. The forward's struggled to get going consistently. His poor performances and continued injuries have prevented him from reaching his full potential. After the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, it was hoped that he would become the team's leader. But that's not the case. He's even been relegated to the bench following the explosion of Brazilian teenager Vinicius Junior.

It should also be pointed out that he doesn't have a great relationship with Real Madrid's fans. He's always seemed shy at a club where he's failed to find his role. After many years in Spain, Bale still doesn't speak the language, a problem which has also affected his performances.
